Pedraforca from the village of Gósol 1426 meters of elevation gain, from this village we will take the PR that takes us to the scree, passing by the goat's neck, from here we only need to make the final part of the ascent to the thumb superior. Itinerary with more accumulated unevenness, but without any doubt with much less technical difficulty, although it must have a good physical condition, this route is ideal, to begin to realize summits of this height.

During the tour we will learn curiosities of the area, such as the history of the refuge, the types of forests we pass through and to identify flora and fauna.

Elevation gain: 1100 meters of accumulated elevation gain and 9.4 kms. Approximately 6 hours
Difficulty: Moderate.
Material to wear: Sunglasses (minimum protection factor 3 or 4), waterproof mountain high boots (optional.) Two pairs of thick socks, thermal T-shirt, (1 layer.) Mountain pants (second layer.) long-sleeved T-shirt (thin fleece) waterproof jacket, windproof gloves, puff and a hat. Backpack of about 30 liters

Food to bring: You must bring at least one liter water bottle, food (bars one or two sandwiches minimum and some fruit.
